The Sonic Art Union live in London


This photo shows some of the most influential american composer in electronic (analogical and digital) and experimental music: from left to right Robert Ashley, Alvin Lucier, Gordon Mumma and, finally, David Behrman. Toghetern they presented the show of the Sonic Art Union, photographed during a live session at the U.S. Embassy in London, in 1971.

As Sonic Arts Union (initialy named Sonic Arts Group), they was active from 1966 to 1976, inspired by the music works of John Cage and David Tudor. Thier music was listen in U.S. but also in Europe.
